Today I will be writing about my relationship with my parents, what we share, our differences, and more.
My parents and I are relatively close to each other. While we do share many traits, we also have many differences. As my mom always says, my father and I share the same attitude, sometimes short tempered and impatient, but also kind and caring. As for my mom, she is way calmer and patient compared to my father and I. Although my mother's personality might not be the same as mine, we do share the same mindset. Usually thinking about others that we care about before ourselves. Although my dad and I are close, we don't always see eye to eye. Like all parents and children, we'll occasionally fight. Whether the grudge will last for a day or one whole week, we eventually get over it. As for my dad, while he is more of an outgoing person, I am shyer. My father will usually make friends quite quickly, but for me, that's not the case. But as for my mother, she's more sympathetic. I am lucky to say that I got that trait from my mom. While my dad and I don't always see eye to eye, we do have the same personality. Sometimes we are like to positive magnets not wanting to connect. My mother and I don't have the same character whatsoever, but I am proud to say that I got a lot of her traits.
While being with my parents from birth. I have learned many things from them. My parents have taught me how to read and write, but most importantly, I have learned about how life will be as an adult. Having spent valuable time with them when I was younger, makes me realize that you shouldn't take life for granted. Whatever your job is in life, although it might pay well, first you should enjoy your job. I have learned that money can't buy happiness in life. It's your decisions that you make that can either ruin your life and make it even better. While one might feel as if they have learned plenty from their parents, you might learn something new if you realize what they do for you and also the people around you.
